Trauma effects how you view and respond to the world around you. Any time we are exposed to accidents, observe traumatic events ie. floods, fire, hurricane or are abused our emotions will be negatively effected. Some of these effects are long term and can contribute to our mind shutting down, feeling anxious, angry or depressed without realizing why.
Traumas can be from:
- Any act of violence
- Life-threatening event
- Physical, sexual or emotional abuse
